After a huge first party with Le Loup @ My Aeon, the Eighty Nine crew is back for more and this time they are taking over the Mercat Basement for an exclusive Melbourne only live performance by the underground musical genius RYO MURAKAMI.
Ryo Murakami entered the world of music from an early age by playing piano, and then slowly started involving with analogue machines. It’s clear to see how Ryo has been influenced by a broad spectrum of music styles. Fred P recently selected Ryo to feature on his new series, Selected: by Fred P (2014). Ryo is also Co-runner of Panrecords and is singed to Baud and Curle recordings along side artists such as Dj Qu, Donato Dozzy and Conforce. His upcoming LP will be on the awesome new label called BEDOUIN records, who signed recently the badass Detroit producer, DJ Stingray.
Ryo Murakami has finally released his first album on his own label “Depth of Decay”, which we are proud to announce, will be presented to you live through a sonic and emotional journey incorporating tense atmospheric projections taking you on a real inter-sound voyage. Open your mind with us on this blissful zen-like transcendent and fall deeper into the depths of sound.
