Launching into the finishing stretch of the application phase for this year’s Academy edition in Montreal, we’re bringing the Hessle Audio trio of Pearson Sound, Pangaea and Ben UFO to Moscow for an RBMA Night.
Balancing the spinning plates of anticipation, surprise and consistency since 2007, Hessle Audio’s combination of vision, enthusiasm and insistence to go at their own pace have earnt them plaudits from the dancefloor to the distributor. Each member of the trio has made a mark on sound system culture in their own right, Pearson Sound and Pangaea flipping FWD’s dubby techno templates in their own way, and Ben UFO’s prowess on deck leading dancers all over the place. Together they have soundtracked London’s ever-morphing low-end styles, and continue to develop their own bass mutations, slowing the tempo while keeping a certain rhythmic complexity.
