アシッドサウンドを基調とした濃厚なトリップ体験を生み出すDJとして世界中に熱烈なファンを持つPatrick RussellがContactへ初登場！ オリジナル楽曲のリリース数は少ないものの、「どのような音楽がどうオーディエンスに作用するのか」をウェアハウスパーティーなどのリアルな現場体験で身をもって体得してきた筋金入りのDJだ。その実力はフェスティバルのLabyrinthを含む過去の日本公演で証明済み。現在、ニューヨークテクノの新たな時代を切り拓いたイベントThe Bunkerのレジデントとして活躍を続けるPatrick RussellのDJセットは、浮遊感のあるビートレスアンビエントから、ハードに攻め立てる重機のようなサウンドまでカバーする幅広い選曲ながら、常に意識の奥へ深く飛び込んでいくような心地よい陶酔を感じさせる。ハードコアなトラックディガーとしても知られるだけに、この日も「知りたい欲」をくすぐる未知なる音楽が驚きと興奮をもたらしてくれるに違いない！ トリップの準備を整えてこの夜を待つべし！

We are honored to welcome Patrick Russell, whose various acid sets create cerebral journeys that have garnered a swarm of devotees across the globe. Hands-on experience at warehouse parties taught the hardcore DJ all the requisites of the game and the importance of making appropriate selections that suit the audience's ever-changing vibe, which later helped him become a household name despite a handful of materials in his discography. His DJing prowess has been born out by his past gigs in Japan that include the Labyrinth festival. The Bunker resident segues from buoyant beatless ambient to the heavy machinery of industrial techno, contributing to a night adding a new page to New York's techno history. His sets always brim with psychedelic euphoria where you dive into the depth of mind. Also known as a hardcore digger, his selection of elusive tracks will tickle the eager-to-know audience's fancy at his Contact debut. Prepare yourself for an unknown hard trip!
