R.A.N (Roads at Night) is the dark electronic, rhythmic ambient music project of Istanbul born, Berlin based artist Hüma Utku. Born as a result of leaving Home – R.A.N generates a new entity, where one loses the self to embark on further explorations. She tells stories through deep synths, distorted beats and she journeys between various moods. Since the release of her debut album, Her Trembling Ceased via Partapart Records, Utku has performed live internationally in acclaimed venues, has contributed to numerous compilation albums and made new single & remix releases.

▰ Wild Anima [vocal ambient electronic]
Wild Anima c'est l'âme sauvage, la nature à l'état brut, la partie intime de notre essence de vivre. Projet vocal ambient electronic où se mêlent sonorités de chants sacrés aux rythmes hip hop et techno avec des textes poétiques et intimistes voguant entre grec, tibétain, anglais et français. Inspiré entre autres par l'électro british des années 90 et 2000 des groupes tels que Boards of Canada, Plaid, Portishead, Autechre et Aphex Twin et la période spirit de Madonna avec Frozen. Repoussant les limites des genres entre spirit pop et healing techno Wild Anima est aussi une exploration des états d'âmes.

Librement inspiré par l’imagerie scandinave des grands espaces apaisés, le projet musical Malmö y puise directement son nom en fantasmant cette ville suédoise, terre d’échange et de dialogue reliant le Danemark via le détroit d’Oresund. À travers ses compositions ce parisien développe de délicates nappes mélodiques finement rythmées par quelques beats cotonneux.
