For the 29th edition of #boxoutwednesdays, we have a Sri Lankan take-over with Sunara and Asvajit [Jambutek Recordings].
Sunara is a visual artist and dj with a constantly evolving selection of nuanced electronic music. Her soundscapes range from atmospheric to minimal. Asvajit regularly winds up dance-floors across the island with a passionate mixing style and playful blend of funk-laden grooves and deep but powerful house and techno beats.
Both artists played stellar sets for our Boxout In Transit session from Colombo and we can't wait to host them in Delhi.
The only weekly residency in the country for underground sounds and culture, Budweiser x #boxoutwednesdays is more than just a night, it is an on-going movement that helps build and serve a community that remains neglected by the mainstream.
