Token Records is known for quality techno, a tradition which this year has been held for a decade! To celebrate label boss Kr!z has put together the 10 Years of Token tour and we’re really excited to announce that he will touch down at Et Andet Sted for a Copenhagen stop. Our local Token representative, and ultra dedicated DJ, Ctrls will be joining him.
On support duties we’ve brought in Modah & Riesenfeld, 2 of the most exciting and dedicated up’n’coming Copenhagen DJs. They hail from the local TRTLNCK imprint, an outfit that has gone from strength to strength this year. And as a last minute addition we managed to secure a set from Sella Turcica, the latest member to join the Fast Forward Productions crew. Her intense and mysterious style has been turning heads and we’ve managed to catch her right before her debut at legendary Berlin venue Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL).
The tour also marks the release of a massive double LP, which has the entire Token Records contributing. Over the last 10 years the label has grown steadily, both in size and stylistic breadth. The aptly-titled Momentum comes as a celebration of the close-knit family of artists amassed throughout the label’s running. The record is a fitting collaborative project, with every track on the album produced by two longstanding and well-respected artists from the label’s roster and especially commissioned for the release. This type of collaboration is intended to showcase the specific sound of the label, developed through 10 years of careful curation, as well as bringing out the individual identities of the artists involved.
