LWE NYD will mark the fifth New Year’s Day event at Tobacco Dock.
Over the past four years LWE have brought in a broad spectrum of house & techno’s best to Tobacco Dock, and the first day of 2018 will be no different.
This year, the date hosts the return of Maetrik Live. Maetrik is the darker moniker of Maceo Plex and with DJ sets a rarity, Maetrik live will get it’s first ever outing at Tobacco Dock. With his productions and performances second to none we’re excited to see the latest manifestation of Maetrik.
We’ve got some of the best live acts at LWE NYD. KiNK and Agents Of Time are set to bring something special to Wapping on New Year’s Day, and so will the dark industrial sounds of Ø [Phase] Live.
Nastia has become something of a sensation over the last few years, with last year being a massive one for her. She has an enchanting ability to bring together minimal and dub techno sounds.
Floorplan will bring with him a holy selection of beats, and an infectious flow that could get someone with 2 left feet moving. Roman Flügel’s ethereal and otherworldly sounds will also decend on Tobacco Dock for the first time.
Alan Fitzpatrick has become something of a staple at LWE’s techno shows, and he’ll provide the no-nonsense sound on this eclectic addition of LWE NYD.
Studio Barnhaus are a label that are hard to pigeonhole, and constantly moving in different directions. We’re pleased to welcome co-founder Axel Boman, who will take us into an unknown electronic journey.
Lauren Lo Sung is a DJ on an upward ascent with her track selection and style bringing in a wide pool of fans.
