Hailing from the island of Sardinia, Claudio Porceddu aka Claudio PRC has long been influenced by the sounds of detroit which he expertly fuses with electroacoustic elements to create something instantly identifiable and unique, intellectually stimulating but perfectly suited to a dance floor. A sophisticated mélange of hypnotic drone techno and atmospheric ambient that is as abstract as it is rhythmically charged and energetic. His trademark sound has been released on labels such as Prologue, Trolldans, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Planet Rhythm and more recently on Semantica Records where he released this years' sublime "Volumi Dinamici". Together with fellow countryman Andrea Deplano aka Ness, he makes music under the moniker The Gods Planet that doubles as a record label known simply as TGP that has put out highly praised work by the likes of Silent Servant, Cio D'Or, Luigi Tozzi, Dusty Kid or Terrence Fixmer. This is music to listen to with your eyes closed and your ears wide open.
