We see in the New Year with an incredible bill featuring two of the Midland’s most distinctive musical exports. Whilst Alex Nut and William Holland would have been hitting up the same record shops and clubs in turn of the Millennium Birmingham, it’s only now that they share selection duties for the first time at Ghost Notes.
Head of Eglo Records and a stalwart Saturday broadcaster on both Rinse and NTS, Alex Nut embodies everything that’s forward facing in soulful music. Will Holland, meanwhile, has created a unique space where travels around the globe and journeys back into time inform his myriad productions. Simply put, there isn’t another producer or musician of his generation that can compete with Quantic when it comes to his truly international style
