BYBL Records FREE Party!
We are throwing our last free party of the year with some familiar faces and quality additions. This time, in a brand new venue in Dalston.
'The Speak Easy' is a low lit bar across the road from Dalston Junction Station serving good cocktails and food upstairs. We have taken over the intimate basement with its low ceilings and Martin Audio sound system.
For this party we will be blurring the lines a little with the music policy to build a crescendo over the course of the evening. We have always taken inspiration from the History of House and Techno to build the right vibes for these parties. So for this party we will give the DJ's freedom and ask that they show us the depth of their collection. Not just the House and Tech we have become known for but you can also expect to hear some Nu Disco, Acid House, Minimal Techno, Progressive House and anything else which fits the moment.
Lights, strobes and visuals with some serious beats, what more could you ask for?

Slavaki (Elusive)
Where do we begin? Slavaki is a true musician, analog enthusiast and Elusive label owner who seems to create and release tracks with the click of a button. He is mostly known for his Deep Tech vibes accompanied by rhythmic percussion and mysterious effects most of which are performed by him in his London studio. One things for sure though, he knows how to bring the Techno when the dance floor needs it.
With support for his tracks coming from artists such as Mihai Popoviciu, Terry Francis and praise from likes of Ibiza-Voice and De:bug we are exited to hear what his live sets will do to our dance floor.

BAY (Blundell Studios / Blink)
Blundell Studio resident and Blink founder, Bay pushes cutting edge House beats with a keen ear for that Techy punch we all adore. Having played at many of Londons top venues we are looking forward to hearing what his vinyl collection has in store for us.

TRUXO:
A man who moves in the shadows playing Techno behind closed doors for a select few. Not many even know his real name and he would like to keep it that way. We have been a fan of Truxo behind the decks for many years and although he has been reluctant to transfer those skill into the studio its always worth letting him rock a crowd with his uptempo Jackin' beats which sit somewhere between to lines of House and Techno.

D-JAW:
Resident of The Doghouse events and BYBL Records founder. Dan pushes the signature style of the label during his sets. Expect House beats with groove and bass. Subtle Garage influences and a nod to the history of the underground House scene. This will be one of Dan's last sets before he goes off around the world and he has promised to throw in some Nu Disco and Old School House as a tribute to the original inspiration behind the party.
This year has been his best to date with releases out on Crossworld Records, Purple Sun and his own BYBL Records. He has just been signed to Fragments, had his tracks picked up by compilation teams at Recovery House, Club Sessions and is just about to release his debut album 'Silence'

J_HAZZRD:
Fresh off the back of his successful Sonorus night, Jorge Martins AKA J_Hazzrd is inspired by 90's electronic music
and an absolute Detroit fanatic. Europe and Africa collide with this enthusiastic dj and producer signed to BYBL. Behind the decks he covers all angles bringing together the best elements of House and Techno. His refreshing approach has lead him to become an in demand DJ on the London scene.

LOKAÄI
Specialising in tech house, Lokaäi's roots came from mixing drum and bass in the early 2000’s, delving tentatively into production. Inspired by Ibiza culture, Lokaäi eventually became driven by bassline and minimalism. Lokaäi grew up on the London scene and has encompassed all that underground music has taught him at crowd level. Pushing a unique bassy tech style, you can catch him playing regular gigs at Cargo, 93 Feet East, Egg and Lightbox along with UK Festivals and some Ibiza sets during the summer.
