It has been a year since we released Secret Society’s first compilation album. It was a huge milestone for us, and a big achievement for Toronto, a city bustling with talent in the underground house music scene. It was a good reason to celebrate and an opportunity to learn and grow as a community.
In the past year we have restructured, realigned, and have created a plan that will bring these artists a widespread exposure. We are excited to announce the launch of Secret Society as a record label, and with it the next edition of our annual release - SSS: Year Two.
Collected from the original works of Toronto locals, this compilation is a showcase of the talent that have performed at our weekly collective: Secret Society Sessions. It consists of 11 songs, all unique, yet complimenting the vibe, that we all know very well from our most successful event series.
Embracing the age we live in, this compilation is going to be released digitally, across 100 stores on the world wide web. As you all know how much we love a party, we are throwing a very special album release celebration on December 22nd, at One Loft.
