Synaesthesia is the ability to mix all the senses and Nuits Synesthésiques, the party created by DJ and producer Lucient, is an extraordinary musical synaesthesia and has become the perfect setting to play records that DJs would normally leave behind when packing their gig bags for the weekend. Sundays at Switch in Gracia have converted into an audio oasis for overworked ears in a busy city and is a safe haven where artists are invited to share the booth and their vinyl choices, abandoning their typical musical offerings, to play whatever they feel like. Whether it is techno, house or IDM, they use their crate digging expertise to discover hidden gems that are typically only heard at home or in the studio.
Friday, January 19 will see Lucient celebrate alongside a large selection of DJs who have passed through the doors of his party, including Abu Sou, Deckard, DJ Lui, Fleejays!, Headbirds, MLiR, Phran, Rubio, Ylia and Ruzztic, in just the first year of Les Nuits Sinesthèsiques.
