Here comes Giraffe, for the first time in Berlin, to celebrate the recent Climate EP for Marmo Music, two arrangements that drift long and adventurous, a stretched musical path, making their outcome magnetic and bewitching. Hailing from Hamburg, the group formed by Sascha Demand (guitar), Charly Shöppner (drums & percussions) and Jürgen Hall (synthesizers), broke into scene in early 2017 with Juni via venerable label Meakusma, an album of short hypnotic refinements and dreamy delightful soundscapes.
Astma comes from a long history of improvisational jams and recordings, gathering admiration and fans from all over the world. Drummer and vocalist Olga Nosova and Russian industrial/electronic pioneer Alexei Borisov have crafted a mind-boggling, abstract, yet surprisingly groovy psychedelia of ferocious beauty, peppered up by the weird, free-form spoken words of Olga. Their live performances are of devastating impact, intense and engaging, sucking in the listener into a vortex of sensual chaos. For the occasion, the duo will be joined by long-time friend and collaborator, Aut Records electronic wizard Bob Meanza. Together, in May 2017, they brought to life Raw Volumes LP for Aut Records, which collects free jams coming straight from one of their latest studio sessions in Berlin.
Keller Crackers is a young experimental project by Berlin-based Kostas Tassopoulos, Anna Vila and Silvana Wickman. In spite of the few live appearances and recording sessions, they have already shaped a sound of arcane, haunting ambience, where the stabs of a self-built steel cello melt into carpets of modulated synthesis and field recordings, topped up by poetic spoken sketches of capitalistic decadence and post-materialistic relief.
