Following a summer spent back in Europe launching his Made In Green Records label, Vasco Ispirian is back in Brooklyn to set things off properly, following promotional appearances on Red Light Radio in Amsterdam and the Spanish edition of Red Bull Music. The imprint´s first vinyl releases are a pair of 10 inches, each featuring an original track from Rooteo & Mahura and its corresponding remix, one by internationally renown dub and techno producer Deadbeat, and the other from Brooklyn´s own Max McFerren. With two of the three principals on deck, it´s only natural that a label launch party arise, so for February 8th at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Made In Green Records presents its first official label event, featuring label artists Vasco Ispirian and Max McFerren with special guest L.Sangre.
The head of Made in Green, Vasco Ispirian originates from Madrid, with long experience as resident of famous Madrid club night The Room, as well as long experience playing in Spain and other places on the continent continuing to the present. A versatile producer and DJ who maintains a central dub notion throughout his work, the label represents the most complete statement of his musical ideas so far, ranging from ambient and ethnically tinged experimental tracks to full dancefloor depth charges. https://soundcloud.com/ispirian
A resident of Brooklyn´s Lost Soul Enterprises events, L. Sangre cut her teeth at Bossa Nova Civic club from its earliest days with her No Name events before moving on to attain position in Brooklyn´s busy DJ circuit. Her industrial, acidic style has steadily pushed her onwards, recently making appearances in LA and NYC alongside Silent Servant and keeping a busy schedule locally. https://soundcloud.com/lsangre
Another of the early talents to break out of the Bossa Nova scene circa 2012, Max McFerren´s notoriety is based on a steady stream of well received records for noted labels like 1080p, Allergy Season, Ultimate Hits, and others. Although quieter on the DJ circuit for some months, 2016 saw the unveiling of his Complete Walkthru project, now his main creative outlet.
