Red Bull Music Festival Wien proudly presents its first edition, celebrating Austria’s diverse musical scenes and styles. For this unique event we’ll be taking over the giant Ferris wheel and setting up three stages at the Prater, showcasing a cross section of the sounds of Austria.
Buckle up for the likes of club and coffeehouse monarchs Kruder & Dorfmeister, current pop propellants Granada, electronic music duo Ogris Debris, notorious rap singer Money Boy, techno legend Patrick Pulsinger, remarkable rappers Nazar and T-Ser, the world-famous Wiener Sängerknaben and many more, appearing on stages at the Vienna Giant Wheel forecourt, Waggon 31 and Grand Autodrom. Additionally, festival visitors have the chance to witness intimate DJ sets inside the Giant Wheel’s wagons, with performers including future-facing producer Cid Rim, Academy alum The Clonious, FM4’s Kristian Davideck, turntablist authorities Waxolutionists, Italo disco revivalist Wolfram and many others. We’re also holding a lottery for those who’d like to attend exclusive concerts in yet more Ferris wheel wagons by acclaimed Austrian talent like drum & bass figureheads Camo & Krooked, EAV frontman Klaus Eberhartinger, native troubadour Der Nino aus Wien, rap upstart Mavi Phoenix, high-flying duo Seiler & Speer and adept rap artist Skero among others.
