IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE VIKINGS!
Shapes is gathering some of the best party promoters and artists, pairing them amongst the most unique and beautiful settings in Europe and beyond. With two editions already planned in Switzerland (March) and Greece (August), our second stop will be in the Norwegian historical town of Sandefjord (24-27 May), which has now become a modern town of culture. The history of Sandefjord has been formed by the Viking Age, the shipping industry and whaling in Arctic and Antarctic areas. Sandefjord has a history of pioneer spirit and creativity, daring and bravery.
While the night events will be more of a party affair, the free day events will be accessible to all generations, families and kids with a mixture of culture, music & food in a carnival like atmosphere.
Shapes is pushing the boundaries of quality music and original party vibes, so expect the best festival experience in Sandefjord on 24-27 May 2018!

Located 120 km south of Oslo, Sandefjord boasts over 240 km of coastline, as well as a rich historical heritage. With its 116 islands and islets, large forests, sandy beaches, bays and cliffs and traces of vikings settlements from 1000 years ago, Sandefjord offers a very special Scandinavian vibe. The perfect place to enjoy a long weekend of nordic culture, food and music!
HOW TO GET THERE
By plane, Sandefjord Airport, Torp (IATA: TRF) has flights to some major and minor cities around Norway and Europe, including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Gothenburg, Marseille, Pisa, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nice, Alicante, Malaga, Prague, Stockholm, Warsaw, and Wroclaw. Sandefjord is located 10 km from the airport. There is an hourly train from Torp station to Sandefjord, with a free shuttle bus connecting Torp airport to Torp station.
By train, the Norwegian State Railway serves Sandefjord on the Oslo-Skien line (Vestfoldbanen).
By car, Sandefjord is located approximately 1h 30 minutes south of Oslo in Vestfold county by the E-18
