"eclectic" (エクレクティック) とは、乱暴な意訳をすれば「異なるスタイル・ジャンルの要素をミックスし、良いとこ取りする」という意。
このパーティでは、タイトル "eclectic" の通り、ディスコやトラディショナルなハウスをはじめ、最新のダンスミュージックまでをミックスし、新たな音楽観を表現することをコンセプトとしている。
レジデントDJは、ハウス・ミュージックを基調としながら、それぞれの感じる新しさ・おもしろさをミックスしていく。
加えて、パーティを行う空間にもこだわり、パーティ当日は その日のための特別な空間デコレーションが施されることもパーティの個性の1つだ。
また、開催地となる青山 0 Zero は、独自の試行錯誤とDIY精神によって創り上げられたサウンドシステムを持ち、都内でも有数の「良い音」が聴ける場所だ。
ダンスミュージックのエネルギーが失われないように設計された空間や、フルカスタムのターンテーブル・UreiのDJミキサー、どれを取っても「良い音」を聴かせるための強い意志を感じる。
