Lapsus Festival marks its fifth edition by strengthening its commitment to avant-garde electronic music and renewing its pledge as a unique selector that provides alternative music trends to other festivals taking place in the city. Lapsus focuses on comfort and quality and seeks to avoid the trappings of large crowd formats.
Saturday 7 will host more than 12 uninterrupted hours of music. From 5:00pm the CCCB will present performances from Lee Gamble, D'Arcangelo -a show born out of the collaboration between Lapsus and the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura-, Deena Abdelwahed, Photay, Renick Bell, Rrucculla and a b2b set from Philip Sherburne and Tutu. Furthermore, the Sala Raval we will provide the opportunity to experience "Voyage to the End of the World", a three performance sound odyssey especially designed by Modern Obscure Music, with an exclusive showcase comprised of performances by Island in the Sun –the new alternative project by Pedro Vian-, Defled and duo NYEM. The Saturday night program will see London label Whities enter the DJ booth at LAUT, with British artists Minor Science and Tasker charged with closing the fifth Lapsus Festival.
