Come Saturday, April 14th, we’re eager to present to you a secret, inner-city park party with none other than one of Sydney’s finest tastemaker, and Heavenly party head honcho, BEN FESTER!
Ben Fester is an irreplaceable part of the crew responsible for keeping the Sydney music scene alive and thriving, particularly through his hugely respected and innovative Heavenly parties. Heavenly has been an underground staple in Sydney since 2013 and has hosted an impressive string of local and international artists and labels such as Rush Hour, Theo Parish, Sex Tags, Pender Street Steppers and Sleep D, to name a few.
Fester's sets have become legendary throughout his Sydney and interstate peers, and he’s just recently returned from a very successful European tour where he played with the likes of Bradley Zero, PLO Man, and Hashman Deejay. Ben Fester has also been turning heads around the world with his mixtapes for notable brands like Trushmix, particularly a live recording of his 2017 Inner Varnika set, known as Trushmix 103. Known for his exquisite taste in music and his ability to really get the party going, Ben Fester is most definitely not one to be missed!
It’ll be our second year down for SHADE, so we decided we’d like to try something new by throwing a guerrilla park party with one of Australia’s most influential tastemakers. We’re still evolving and growing, and want to thank you all for your support in these formative years, and for growing with us and building our brand; we couldn’t, and wouldn’t, do it without ya!
The park space we’re using MUST be respected; please ensure you use the bins provided for ALL rubbish (especially those pesky ciggie butts). This will be a NO GLASS event, so make sure any BYO alcohol is de-canted. We’re focussed on providing a safe and inclusive space in which everyone feels comfortable to participate, so please respect others’ personal space and look out for one another throughout the night. Following those coupla cruisey rules will ensure we all have a night to remember for all the right reasons.

$10 to participate and are strictly limited to preserve the space, so get in early to avoid missing out.
