rRoxymore (Berlin, DE)
rRoxymore's music is an intriguing, one-off blend of contrasting textures organic and synthetic, icy and warm a fresh step in dance music. The French musician and producer has a long history making music in various ways, with various people, before settling in Berlin and concentrating on the solo project that refines it all.
As rRoxymore, she released her epic 10-minute debut Wheel of Fortune in the summer of 2012 half of split a 12 with Planningtorock on the latters own Human Level label. Human Level also provided the outlet for rRoxymores first EP, Precarious/Precious, the following year. The four tracks combined nervous grooves, bewitching cosmic synths, twisted snippets of acoustic instruments and other intriguing sounds. Live, rRoxymore creates rhythms and sounds with energetic rawness merging with a stirring psychedelia, taking you into a new world.
With her reputation now intact, rRoxymore quickly found new friends and allies in the vast musical landscape of Berlin. Regular sets (both live and DJ) at local favorites like About Blank and Panorama Bar accompanied gigs all over Europe and jaunts to further reaches. Recognized as an artist with future-oriented ideas in a musical capital, she has been presented abroad as part of the Berlin Current initiative presented by CTM Festival, Berghain, Boiler Room Berlin, The Quietus and others.
2015 saw the release of Decon/Recon #1 her collaborative project with Paula Temple, Oni Ayhun (Olof Dreijer from The Kifes solo project) and Aquarian Jugs (thats Planningtorock under a different name) and their subsequent tour of Mexico, organized by Germanys worldwide cultural institution the Goethe-Institut. She also released her second solo EP of more polished grooves, Tautologies, at the end of 2015, via Macro, the label operated by Stefan Goldmann & Hard Waxs Finn Johannsen.
2016 / 2017 was also a prolific year for rRoxymore with involvement in different projects like the Karachi Files the release of her 3rd solo EP Organ Smith, via the English label Dont be Afraid and collaboration on a dance piece with the choreographer Ian Kaler.

Pangaea (London, UK)
Pangaea, aka Kevin McAuley, makes electronic dance music that draws its energy from the bleeding edges between sounds. Steering clear of the self-perpetuating feedback loops that often exist within established scenes, his tracks instead express the elusive and innovative qualities that characterise club genres in their infancy. The result is music which ranks among both the strangest and most banging dance music to emerge from the UK in the last decade.
His vision is perfectly demonstrated on his critically-acclaimed debut album In Drum Play which featured on numerous best of 2016 lists (#9 FACT, #4 Sister Ray, #27 Crack). As a DJ since the age of 14, his sets are acrobatic voyages that reach outward to integrate techno, house and exploratory UK styles into their rhythmic axis; an aesthetic captured on his 2014 mix for the Fabriclive CD series and at internationally-renowned clubs and festivals around the world, from Berghain to Fabric and Dekmantel to Glastonbury.
In 2007 Pangaea established the Hessle Audio label along with Ben UFO and Pearson Sound, which has expanded over the years to become a unique and pioneering force in modern club music. The labels ethos is simple: to draw together original and boundary-pushing music not being represented elsewhere. As a trio theyve been at the forefront of a scene thats accelerated at an unprecedented rate, making their enviable ability to stay ahead of the curve all the more impressive with a roster that boasts the indisputable talents of James Blake, Peverelist, Blawan and more.
