LA native Damon “Dam-Funk” Riddick is the epitome of funk. He was a master of drums as a kid, leading to an apprenticeship under funk producer Leon Sylvers. In the 90s G-Funk era when hip-hop became extremely popular, Dam-Funk found his skills in high demand. He then decided to go full FUNK and break off on his own, thus solidifying his career as @Dam-Funk.

Peanut Butter Wolf
As a kid Chris Manak fashioned primitive mix-tapes and ran amok at the local roller rink in Silicon Valley. He started recording in 1989 while they were teenagers. Within 3 years he was signed and started to perform at shows with House of Pain, Nas, and The Pharcyde. Eventually he released songs that got him the attention of Upstairs Records, catalyzing his new project Peanut Butter Breaks. After a career focused on producing, Wolf founded Stones Throw Records and currently splits his time between working on his label and traveling internationally as a DJ.
