Zusammen mit Alex Smoke, Marco Bernardi und Slam repräsentiert Edit Select die Technoszene aus Schottland. Als Produzent ist er derzeit enorm aktiv. Kooperationen mit Mike Parker etliche Singles auf seinem eigenen Label, sowie auf Developers Modularz und der Technohochburg Soma. Auf letzterer erschien dieses Jahr nun auch sein inzwischen drittes Album. Die 8 Tracks versprechen sphärischen jackenden Techno für den Club. Heraussticht dabei vor allem die in Überlänge ausgereizte Zusammenarbeit mit Claudio PRC. Der vertrippt vor sich hinplätschernde Track zieht von der ersten Sekunde an in den Bann. Um MZR und Ketch kennenzulernen lohnt ein Blick auf Wall Music. So zeigt die vor etwa einem Jahr erschienene Polmozbyt EP von Ketch nicht nur seine Idee von cluborientertem Techno auf, sondern hält neben einem starken Remix von Samuel L Session auf eine Interpretation von MZR parat. Hawkinson wiederum ist für seine Arbeiten auf Müller bekannt. Vor allem sein Album „Klaf“ ist bisher kein Stück gealtert und zeigt auf, wie zeitlos Techno sein kann.

Together with Alex Smoke, Marco Bernardi and Slam, Edit Select represents the techno scene from Scotland. As a producer, he is currently enormously active. Collaborations with Mike Parker on several singles on his own label, as well as on Developers Modularz and on the Techno institution Soma. Meanwhile his third album also appeared this year now on the latter. The 8 tracks promise spherical jacking techno for the club. Particularly noteworthy is the snappy collaboration with Claudio PRC. The swiftly purring track casts a spell from the first second. To get to know MZR and Ketch, check out Wall Music. For example, Ketch's Polmozbyt EP, which was released about a year ago, not only reveals his idea of club-oriented techno, but also offers a powerful remix of Samuel L Session's interpretation of MZR. Hawkinson, in turn, is known for his work on Müller. Above all, his album "Klaf" has not aged a bit and shows how timeless Techno can be.
