Andrew Weatherall is a legend. It's a weighty word, legend, but it really and truly is the only one that can accurately sum up the numerous accomplishments of the man's career. From his early days as a young gun in the Boys Own crew or his production on Primal Scream's essential musical document, Screamadelica, on through to his work in the '90s with The Sabres of Paradise and Two Lone Swordsmen into the late '00s with his debut release's under his own name, all the way through till the present day with his recent Woodleigh Research Facility and Asphodells projects.
These achievements alone would be enough to keep almost anyone busy but al this has been done while traveling the world crafting inspiring DJ sets that span genres effortlessly. Weatherall has pushed relentlessly forward in as many directions as possible, rarely looking back to take stock of his incredible oeuvre.
One of the most unpredictable jocks and renowned figures in music, we are incredibly proud, and lucky, to be able to bring Andrew up to Newcastle for our next Body Talk party in the cozy confines of Cobalt Studios.
