In a short space of time, Patrick Topping has become part of the top tier in dance music. Part of the new wave of electronic music producers coming from the north of England, he is a pioneering force for a generation of upcoming artists, reflected in being voted 11th in Resident Advisors Top100 DJ's of 2016 and picked as 15th by Mixmag.
His DJ career first began when he founded his own club night ‘Motion’ at respected venue Digital Newcastle, where he booked and played alongside some of the biggest names in the business including Solomun, Tale Of Us & Sven Vath.
Now 28 Patrick has gone on to make his name as a prolific producer, with a long list of stellar releases, achieving numerous Beatport #1s and working on prominent collaborations and remixes for the biggest names in the business.
Since being named a ‘Future Star’ by Pete Tong in 2014, Patrick has gone on to receive many accolades including ‘Best Newcomer’, ‘Track of the Season’ and DJ Mag’s ‘Best Tune’. Championed by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Pete Tong throughout the years, Patrick has performed live on radio twice including his hugely popular Essential Mix in 2015.
Coming into his 5th Australian tour, Patrick shows no sign of slowing down promising a day to remember at FACT1ON this June.
FACT1ON will host some of Sydney’s best talent on support, including sets from Kormak, Hoten, In Deep We Trust Collective, NICK REVERSE, Crate Diggers and Motion, plus Spektrum hosting the den all day.
