Arriving in Ibiza after fleeing the fascist Argentinian junta in 1976, Alfredo would become crucial in creating the Balearic beat sound. Playing an ecstatic medley of European pop, new wave, rock and burgeoning Chicago house music inside the then open air Amnesia club during the mid Eighties, Alfredo’s influence was instrumental in acid house sweeping over the UK in the summer of 1988 and undoubtedly provided the spark in Ibiza becoming a club cultural mecca. After over 30 years Alfredo still remains relevant by playing upfront house music across the world. Thirty years after emerging out of those hedonistic clubs in Ibiza Balearic beat chimes with a new breed of DJ’s championing a contemporary borderless dance-floor aesthetic…
Feelings
In just under two years Feelings have shaken up London’s party landscape by educating a new generation of dance music lovers on the history and genres that took dance music to where it stands today. By bringing together pioneers of dance music with new talent that ring true with those original sounds, Feelings recreate the atmosphere and good times of the inaugural parties of our scene in interesting spaces across the capital.
