2001년부터 독일 뮌헨의 오래된 컬트클럽 'Ultraschall’에서 레지던트 디제이로 활동하며 시작된 그녀의 디제이 세트와 믹스는 과거의 주옥과 같은 음악들에 새로운 빛을 불어넣으며 현대음악의 발전에 깊이 관여해왔다. Cio D’Or는 과거와 미래의 거울을 서로 마주보게 하고 그 안의 무한한 공간속에 당신을 머물게 한다.
Cio D’Or는 2004년부터 현재까지 2개의 정규앨범과 10개의 EP앨범들을 발표해왔다. 또한, Donato Dozzy, Gabriel Ananda, Paul Brtschitsch와 함께 3개의 EP앨범을 공동작업 하였으며, Prologue, Semantica, Telrae, Hypnus, Time to Express와 같은 레이블들에서 리믹스 트랙들을 발표해왔다.
2012년에는 오케스트라 극 음악 “Distanz” 를 작곡하였다. 그녀의 컨셉 ’PULSA:RE’는 작곡가 Brigitta Muntendorf 와의 협업을 통해 DJ set와 새로운 음악 사이의 앙상블을 만들어냈다.
Cio D'Or's music concept reflects upon the infinitely diverse interplay between deep emotional dynamics. She explores, wanders and leads the listener through her mesmerising cinematic soundscapes along the secret pathways between origin and resolution. The musical journey reveals a timeless, enigmatic expression of the mirage of the Zeitgeist. D'Or opens a window to the hidden world within us and reveals our stories without saying a word.
Since 2001 and starting as a resident DJ in Munich's former cult club 'Ultraschall,' D'Or's DJ sets and mixes have penetrated the depths of modern musical developments whilst bringing a new shine to the gems of the past. Cio D´Or places a mirror of the past and future directly opposite each other and holds you in that infinite space between.
Since 2004 she released 2 album´s, 10 EPs, 3EPs coproduced with Donato Dozzy, Gabriel Ananda or Paul Brtschitsch and 4 remixes for labels like Prologue, Semantica, Telrae, Hypnus or Time to Express.
In 2012 she composed her electro-acoustic debut "Distanz" for a music theatre with orchestral instruments. Her concept 'PULSA:RE' combines a DJ Set and new music with an ensemble in collaboration with the composer Brigitta Muntendorf.
