Let's dig into the sounds of Africa!
We're very proud to connect with RE:BOOT collective to invite the infamous Brian Shimkovitz aka Awesome Tapes From Africa to play a show alongside Afro-Canadian band Pierre Kwenders. Their showcases will be embedded by sounds from the RE:BOOT Soundsystem who are the musical ambassadors of the biggest archive of contemporary African dance music in Europe.
The night will be opened at 9pm by a lecture on the influence of contemporary African dance music in Europe held by RE:BOOT's Tom Simmert.
