After debuting the show at COACHELLA last year and visiting some of the planets most exciting venues and fetstivals, Richie Hawtin's CLOSE worldwide tour is finally set to land in Glasgow on Oct 11th.
With CLOSE Hawtin challenges the distinction between DJ’ing and live performance with a new 75-minute audio visual show which takes you closer to his unique way of performing.
The show explores the relationship between human creativity and innovative technologies that enable the freedom of improvisation.
Using intimately placed cameras this man-machine relationship unfolds onscreen in real-time bringing the audience closer than before to Hawtin’s intuitive gestures.
