Say Yes is throwing an anniversary series this summer to celebrate 3 year birthday and say THANK YOU for all your love and support.
In the past years, Say Yes brought Silent Servant, Matrixxman, Moritz von Oswald, Hvob, Paula Temple, Tobias., Boris, Sigha, Phase Fatale, Tadeo, Derrick May and many more to the region, been pushing techno for almost 3 years in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh and many cities in Asia/ China.
For this special night on July 21st at Dada Beijing, Say Yes invited a double headliner, both from UK:
1) Broken English Club, live project by techno hero Oliver Ho who has relased on labels like L.I.E.S./ Blueprint / Jealous God / Cititrax
2) plus the rasing star Batu, bass music / techno producer who owns Timedance, has carved out a unique sound on Pinch’s Cold Recordings, Hessle Audio, Houndstooth and Livity Sound...
Broken English Club: From the beginning on Blueprint records Oliver Ho has explored techno in its many different styles, from his early dark electronic records to the more organic percussive grooves on Meta Records. All these ideas and sounds have been distilled down into the current project, Raudive. Those familiar with Oliver Ho’s fearsome and often brutal futurist early EPs on Blueprint and his more recent avant techno/house Raudive material will be aware of his ability to inject a dark narrative into functional electronics.
Oliver signed BROKEN ENGLISH CLUB to JEALOUS GOD, a label run by REGIS, SILENT SERVANT and JAMES RUSKIN. BROKEN ENGLISH CLUB takes the darker elements of RAUDIVE and pushes them into more industrial/noise post-punk directions.With Broken English Club, he delivers monotone vocals and shards of live instrumentation over stuttering beats and bleak synths. The blank-stared, pin-pointfocused electronics and layers of noise betray no/wave and post punk influences, dragging together industrial experimentation and pitch-black techno. He's released on L.I.E.S. / Cititrax / Death & Leisure, just returned to L.I.E.S this June with his new album White Rats.
Batu: Timedance owner Batu has carved out a unique sound in a shockingly short space of time since his debut with Pinch’s Cold Recordings in 2013. Subsequent 12″s for Livity Sound, Hessle Audio and his own Timedance label have found him grounded in British bassbin principles yet pushing that prism in adventurous new ways that have become something of a signature aesthetic.
Batu and his tight-knit Timedance label continue to push the boundaries, putting Bristol firmly at the center of global bass-minded music culture. After a critically acclaimed 2016 for him and the label, he had a remarkable 2017, with outputs across his Timedance imprint, Hessle Audio, and appearing on Samphas official remix works through Young Turks.
Sets in North and Central America, the Far East, Asia and all across Europe (Berghain’s Panorama Bar, Concrete in Paris, Unsound Festival) lead Mixmag to rank Batu as one of the top 20 DJs of 2017, and The Guardian to tip him as one to watch for 2018.

7月21日, 3周年纪念活动的北京场将特别呈现两位来自英国的嘉宾: Techno老将Oliver Ho的LIVE项目Broken English Club和现今如日中天, 在Bass和Techno领域穿梭自如的明日之星Batu。两位艺人各具特色, 前者代表自我升华, 不断推成出新, 后者代表新生代力量的前途无可限量。
Broken English Club 电音奇才Oliver Ho的化名之一。熟悉他的朋友大概从JAMES RUSKIN的厂牌Blueprint时期的凶猛和狂野就是开始追随于他。无论是早期的暗黑还是后期在Meta Records所展现的techno与house的律动, 所有这些不同风格都在Raudive的这个项目上得以进一步地精化和升华, 展现出他对Techno不同风格的轻松驾驭和这方面的深厚造诣。
Broken English CLub创立初期签约JEALOUS GOD, 由REGIS, SILENT SERVANT和JAMES RUSKIN这三位Techno界的灵魂人物所创立的厂牌。这个化名将RAUDIVE的暗黑元素推向工业/ 噪音 / 后朋的方向, 并更多地展现live现场的魅惑, 将工业实验和暗黑Techno融合在一起。在L.I.E.S. / Cititrax / Death & Leisure等一系列发行让人不得不叹服他将暗黑元素不断注入舞池音乐的魔力。就在今年6月, 他又刚在L.I.E.S.发表了全新专辑《White Rats》。将各种不同音乐类型融合在一起, 展现多元化的态度令Oliver 的身影遍及全世界的舞台。
Batu 毫无疑问是近期电音界炙手可热的风云人物。在Pinch的厂牌Cold Recording的首个发行以其独特的音色迅速震撼整个业界。紧接着他在Hotline, Pev & Kowton’s的Dnuos Ytivil, Ben Ufo的Hessle Audio, Houndstooth和Livity Sound陆续发表作品。作为不安常理出牌的先锋派, 他别具一格地将Bass和Techno紧密联结, 形成自己独有的标签。作为Timedance的创办人, 他的名字在各大权威媒体均榜上有名: 2016年Mixmag的最佳突破艺人评选；制作精良的神曲Reez被Fact评为最佳House/ Techno单曲；他个人和厂牌都深受RA, Mixmag, Fact 和The Quietus的青睐。
