Break3000 prägt wie Sylvie Marks seit über 25 Jahren das Clubgeschehen. Aktuell ist er vor allem als Labelchef von Dirt Crew umtriebig. So erschien dort kürzlich etwa das neue Album der Dub-Techno Institution Dub Taylor, das erneut Maßstäbe innerhalb des Genres setzt. Ferner gilt sein Augenmerk dem Nachwuchs. So erschien neben dem Album auch eine EP von Dan Only, der behutsam über das Label aufgebaut wird. Seine DJ-Skills sind unbestritten. Deshalb freuen wir uns, ihn heute Abend wieder einmal hier zu haben. 1992 und 1993 veröffentlichte Sylvie Marks zusammen mit Pete Namlook auf dessen legendärem Label Fax +49-69/450464. Später sollten ein Album und etliche EPs auf Ellen Aliens BPitch Control folgen. Ihr Sound ist roh und tracky, mal technoid, mal housig und alles was noch so dazwischen liegt. Während Sylvie Marks auf Bpitch Control ablieferte, gehörte auch Sid Le Rock das erste Jahrzehnt nach der Milleniumwende. Allein 7 Alben feuerte er über Labelinstitutionen wie Mute, Ladomat 200 oder Shitkatapult ab. Zuletzt hörte man ihn vor allem über My Favourite Robot. Und Lina? Wer sie ihn Berlin noch nicht gehört hat, der war wohl nur ein paar Tage hier. Sie ist eine der umtriebigsten Locals der Stadt.

Like Sylvie Marks, Break3000 has helped shape clubbing for over 25 years and is currently busy as label boss of Dirt Crew. The new album by dub-techno institution Dub Taylor, which sets new standards in the genre, recently appeared there, for example. On top of that, his attention is on the new blood.
