As part of the label series The Bricks will be hosting a string of parties and inviting our most-loved artists down to play at our favourite canal-side venue.
For the month of September we've invited the label boss of City Fly J'Shez to take the decks alongside Anna Wall. This will be the first time they've DJ'd together since the first ever Gottwood Festival back in 2010. Fact!
J'Shez
Director, Label boss, Promoter, and DJ are all pretty impressive titles to juggle but James Sheerin AKA J'Shez handles them with ease. He started City Fly Records back in 2011 alongside his Midlands crew Jonna Iliffe, The Last Trip To Gandahar, Dale Tonks, Darran P & Arthur Jnr. The label is respected for 'championing the best in house music' with releases from the likes of DJ Nature, Fred P, Andres, Kez YM, Simbad, Lay-Far, Red Rack'em and Basic Soul Unit.

DJ Anna Wall
Her debut release 'Broken' appeared on the 22Tracks ADE compilation, and she's had remixes played across the airwaves on BBC 6 Music. Anna launched her own label The Bricks in the summer of 2016 gaining support from tastemaker DJs and publications such as DJ Mag, Dummy, XLR8R, Ransom Note and more.

Not wanting to be pigeon-holed, Anna supports a world of genres displaying unique knowledge and unstoppable energy in pushing the music she loves that can be heard via her monthly KMAH Radio show.
