As long term friends and associates, it makes perfect sense for Modern Logic and INDEX Records to team up and throw a special party together. Never content with a boring line-up, we've got Manchester darlings Ayrtan and Bolt together for a back to back mash up down in The Peer Hat's delightful dungeon of a basement as well as visuals provided by the Index family. Support on the night will come from Modern Logic residents and Index's own Madame Zhou. Expect it all to be thrown in the cauldron with mysterious results, bring your dancing shoes and stay hydrated, it's gonna be a stomper.
Ayrtan: A true vinyl purist, Freddie Aitken a.k.a. Ayrtan has been making waves on the Manchester scene for something close to 2 years, as the co-founder of Traffic MCR records (which may or may not have released some of Josh's music in 2017). Traffic have been releasing some of Manchester's finest homegrown Techno and experimental electronic music and this hasn't gone un-noticed, with Freddie heading up numerous 6 hour sets at Eastern Bloc, gracing the line ups of Pangaea Festival and regularly guesting on Limbo Radio with his team of trusty techno troublemakers. Wait til you hear what he's got in the bag..
Bolt: As the driving force behind VAM, Bolt has brought a refreshing buzz to the scene. The collective itself represents a unique mix of Manchester based artists, from talented live performers, VJs, & DJs who create parties less focused on your typical 4x4 club night, with more emphasis on immersive and visual musical experiences. Her DJ sets touch upon multiple genres and explore the realms of electro, techno, & jungle to name a few. We are hyped to have her down!
