This September, Reculture's intimate series Exhibit is returning to Shoreditch Platform, once again collaborating artwork with electronic music to create an immersive audio and visual experience. We hope that showcasing the Artwork in the party, next to powerful, creative DJs can open the crowd's minds so they can understand that the two worlds are not very different at all.
Bill Patrick is a man of many accolades. Since his days as a DJ in legendary clubs such as The Limelight, Vinyl & Arc, he has charmed our hearts and moved our bodies.
The American DJ is known for educating the world with his deep, psychedelic take on contemporary dance music, as well as only playing at the best clubs and parties.
For our Guest Artist we welcome the hugely respected Boaz Torfstein. Boaz has had projects at Tate modern and the Serpentine Gallery is know for his private, public persona - we regard Boaz as one of Contemporary Art's best.
As new media/technology increasingly fills our world, Boaz is drawn to the simple act of looking. Looking directly at the object he is studying, with no filters and technological assistance that are rapidly becoming part of our core self.
The Artists will be joined by Reculture DJs: Hardt Antoine, Popeyee, Shaka and Francesca Mackay.
