“INDEX:Records return to the Peer Hat with their most eclectic line up to date.
London-based Watching Airplanes make their Manchester debut, a duo who took off earlier this year with their accomplished debut double EP out on Peur Bleue / Banlieue Records. Their outing promises a genre-busting and boundless set, that will take you skyward on an ethereal journey amongst the clouds.
Matt Ward (aka Piccadilly Record's Kickin Pigeon) is also billed, a highly regarded DJ that has been a mainstay on the Manchester circuit for a number of years, and a regular selector at parties curated by the likes of Wet Play and Red Laser Records. He's an absolute party-starter.
YS (albeit one half!) complete the line up. Currently residing in Berlin, Nipuna Jayasekera is a driving force behind Melbourne based record label 'Potatoheadz Records'. The start of 2018 saw their inaugural vinyl release 'Unknown Data Set' sell out within weeks. Expect a set from Nip that journeys between house, electro and breaks.
And as usual the INDEX: residents (currently) DJ Lucian & Madame Zhou will be guiding your experience, making sure the beats are strong, the vibes are safe and your butts get shook!"
