Martyn's 3024 residency night is back in September with Leon Vynehall and DJ Moxie. DJ Moxie hosts a bi-weekly show on NTS and is a staple for the latest in house, disco, techno and beyond, peppered with her engaging and charismatic radio chat - hosting guests from some of dance music’s leading artistic forces including Jeff Mills, Midland, Four Tet, Honey Dijon and more. Her DJ sets seamlessly fusing anything from classic Chicago house to obscure leftfield breaks, or glittering disco with energetic percussive rollers, entertaining and educating club goers wherever the journey takes her. Alongside her illustrious radio and DJ career, Moxie has established herself as a promoter and label founder with On Loop in 2016.
Leon Vynehall's off kilter sounds have come in the form of EPs on labels like 3024, Rush Hour and Running Back, and have been carefully crafted things, layered with musicality whilst never straying too far from a infectious groove. He's in town for the US debut of his immersive live show following the release of his new album, 'Nothing is Still' (Ninja Tune). You can catch that at The Kitchen (thekitchen.org) on 09.27-09.29.
