Marking our final residency of 2018, we invite Hunee to curate every Friday from October 12th 'til December 14th. With his uniquely uplifting style and track selection - all accompanied by a huge grin - we couldn’t think of anyone we would rather throw 10 parties with.
For his first night with us, Hunee invites veteran Dutch duo Juju & Jordash to bring their live set to room 1. Taking inspiration from jazz and experimental music, the pair’s crafting of soft pads and hypnotic grooves has led to a number of distinguished releases on Dekmantel and the like. Joining them will be DJ Nobu, who, as Japan’s most highly regarded techno export, is known just as well for shelling it as he is for his abstract turns.
London’s most lauded audiophile venue, Brilliant Corners, will be hosting and transforming our brand new "Green Room" each week, inviting some of the world's most attuned collectors to select the music.
As they begin their own 10-week takeover in Green Room it is only right that the heads behind Brilliant Corners, Amit and Aneesh Patel, provide its opening soundtrack. As passionate for jazz as they are for good sound, expect a set that mimics the fabled ‘jazz lock-ins’ on which the concept of their venue was built. They’ll be joined by Brilliant Corners regular Pol Valls. Hunee will open things up, however, allowing him the chance to explore and showcase another side to his taste and collection.
