Join RENDER residents in welcoming Berlin's Heiko Laux to Calgary, an artist who has been touring globally, releasing music, and operating his label Kanzleramt, since the mid 90's. Heiko effortlessly flutters between genres, aliases, projects and sounds. He continually tests and pushes the boundaries of contemporary techno, with a deep, emotive, and progressive flair. Over the years, Heiko has experienced many movements and shifts in the culture and artistic spheres, and he continues to play an important role as an ambassador and symbol of the golden age of techno. His productions have been said to capture and illustrate the beauty of exotic lands and galactic landscapes. Heiko will no doubt transport us all to other worlds and higher dimensions, not just of sound, but of being.
