It all started about 20 years ago when Brent was a little nipper at a music technology college in Plymouth, UK. The school had just been granted a large sum of money to encourage young kids like himself into music through the median of DJ’ing. Many school lunches and early evenings were spent learning the art of DJ’ing. Fast-forward a few years and Brent had built a fairly large collection of records from ibiza classics through to hard house anthems, a style he is thankful he has now outgrown. However, it was when Brent went to study in Manchester he really fell in love with his music. He got involved in promoting with some university friends and that was when Dirty Analogue was born. He spent many years performing across the north west of England, alongside some of the biggest names in the minimal house scene at the time, including the likes of Dyed Soundorom, Markus Fix, Julietta, Praslea, Djebali, Anthony Collins and Matthias Meyer to name a few.
Now residing in Bangkok, Brent can be found playing at his resident night Transport at 12 x 12, his style of music ranges from a wide spectrum of house music, with the emphasis on a baseline that will make you want to move your feet and hips.
