  • Last weekend was one to remember, the most fun we have had at any of our parties for a long time. Shouts out to all who came and all who played some music with us, great fun. For our November session, we're bringing in long-time favourite Conor L! Joining in we have the return of Eddie Galavan Seems Legit, along with the usual gathering of Bickmore Midnight Sessions, Nick and Aodhagán to grace the 1’s and 2’s. Inspired by the early disco and house sounds of New York, San Francisco & Chicago, Conor has been DJing since the early 00’s, playing at most major venues and festivals in Ireland and all over Europe inc. London’s legendary Horse Meat Disco, Paloma Bar in Berlin, Vice City in Antwerp, festivals Dimensions (Croatia), Snowbombing (Austria), Lost & Found (Malta) and many more. He was also one of the main men behind The Twisted Pepper and The Bernard Shaw in Dublin, the Bodytonic label and has played alongside the likes of Daniel Wang, Horse Meat Disco, Francois K, Theo Parrish, Optimo, MCDE and Joy O. Eddie Galavan is the founder of Seems Legit! which is club night and soon to be record label based in the South East of Ireland. He began collecting records in 1999 and started djing not long after in 2000. Over the years he has played for numerous promoters and underground party's in Ireland and abroad including Charlet Club, Zebrano, Humbolthain Club all in Berlin, Red Light Radio in Amsterdam, The Red Rooms Liverpool. He also presents the Seems Legit! show on Dublin Digital Radio. This will be Eddie's second visit to London for a gig and has got some Italo & Disco gems to spin come November 17th. Delighted to welcome him back. Bickmore never fails to deliver. This, now his fifth time playing with us at Ninety One, he always does the business and is, always, a gent. If you haven't yet witnessed one of his sets expect that high energy mixed with the sublime and everything in between. One of the finest selectors we’ve witnessed, Mark effortlessly incorporates Soul, Disco and House into an expressive medley of dance floor madness. Nick’s sound roots in the essence of the “Chicago / Detroit / New York” vibe. An early passionate of Disco to Hip Hop and through to House, were excited to see what gems he brings with him this time around. Doors open at 7pm with Aodhagán - one quarter of the Footnotes family, kicking off proceedings with some jazz, soul and deep disco! The usual dancing applies for the late evening, or early evening, we’ll see how it goes.
