For this event we have come up with a group of musicians and artists to play alongside Tzusing in response to our current climate, socio politically and emotionally.
Exploring the cliche'd art concept known as the Landscape often done through a colonial anthropological lens we have invited the artist to explore this in their own personal ways be it textural, socio, political, emotional, or climate and our nature. Delving into quantum philosophy what dictates one idea or creation where did it begin and how are we here now.

We are incredibly humbled to have Tzusing grace our dancefloor for the night. Tzusing's reputation is only on the rise since three EP's on Lies followed by his LP 東方不敗 in 2017 also on Lies Records.
The Shanghai – Taipei artist, sets defy industry expectations often fusing techno, industrial, non western dance music, club music with asian pop. Politics has often been a part of his process and one of our favourite quotes we have read so far about his musical career was gaining a residency at Shelter, Shanghais main electronic music club, through clearing the dancefloor with political rap at a hip hop, broken beat night enthralling the owner.
His own productions for us brings new needed energy to the 4/4 by challenging what sounds can be used through a techno or industrial landscape.
Dualism (live / dj) {Eternal}
Dualism is an experimental electronic duo based out of Sydney. Preferring to remain anonymous the group seek to show the duality between oneness; the contrast of states that inevitably become the same thing, the light and dark merging into wholeness.

For anyone whose ever heard some of our local favourites g̶ϧ̶d̵ and Anicha they know they are in for an experience and for those that haven't expect the unexpected. Their sets are filled with genre defying narratives that can make you think as much as move into a hypnotic state. Rather than hype them up more we would prefer them to show you.
Jikuroux {DECISIONS / EVE}

We could not have a night and call it a series of events without some strong feminine energy on the dance floor and who better to bring this than Jikuroux. Though who the fuck says femininity has anything to do with being soft. Mixing darkness through both horror and sci fi through a queer lens with influences from bass, club, pop and metal she embraces what we are all about.

.ilex is the solo musical project of Sydney drummer, percussionist and DJ Holly Conner.
Coming from a diverse musical background, .ilex somewhat embodies what Series Concerts has always been about. She first studied classical percussion music, before completing a degree in jazz drum kit, and now integrates electronic elements into her performance.
In a band context, Holly Conner currently plays funk & jazz, folk & pop, experimental and hybrid electro/acoustic music.
For her solo project .ilex she combines textural and percussive self recorded tracks with live drums and percussion, and for this event will be combining it as an Audio Visual in response to our theme.
Jake Walker

Jake will be coming up with a special little something of unease, utilizing vocal samples with the melancholy, to work us into the night into a transient thought process similar to their own transient progression from a country born adolescent into a passionate angry but dancing joyful unionist. Get there early to be challenged.
