Tuffers, this Thanksgiving we’re serving up house music family style at Rose Gold. Thankful as hell to be putting on Marcel Lune’s US debut and welcoming our Sticky Fingers family up from DC.
Marcel Lune is a talented young producer from the English town of Stroud. His special dish is disco infused house with incredible touch—everything he makes sounds live, hand recorded, filled with soul. For a 25 year old his discography is already Michelin starred, with an LP on Local Talk in 2017 and the very sick “Family Grooves” EP with us earlier this year. It’s the first time he’s ever been stateside, so this is sure to be a special night.
Additionally, we’ll have our Sticky Fingers Collective extended family in town from DC. Half of the collective, Hot Coffee is one of the most underrated producers on the east coast (see his track “On The Verge” from ST003). Together with Samantha Francesca, they play host to countless parties in and around the DC area. Expect funky, soulful, rather deep house music.
M. Vaughan will be taking your coats, parking cars, and shit.
Wow! Say your graces! What a sick Thanksgiving!
