Many Hands returns down south to 'The Dorf' in Neukölln for a mid week music bonanza. We had the chance to host the wonderful Private Agenda (Live) as they were both in town ahead of their gig at the infamous Robert Johnson so we also drafted in some friends for a night of quality tunes. Dj support will be provided by Many Hands residents Jona J & Kava and two quality local selectors, Danny Russell & Gallo.
Private Agenda (International Feel - Mark Barrott / NuNorthern Soul) are a duo known for their brilliant Balearic and Disco releases on excellent labels such as Mark Barrott's International Feel and Phat Phil Cooper's Nu Northern Soul. The Faze Action remix of their beautiful 'Dawn' was featured on this year's fantastic Balearic 4 Compilation which also included fellow guest Gallo. Expect to hear plenty of new material let out into the wild for the first time. There‘ll be some staple sleazy Balearica alongside fresh cuts of hip-thrusting house & post-punk disco doom.
Danny Russell ( JOLLY JAMS ) is a busy local Dj & producer. His chart topping 2018 release 'Watchin Out' on Athens Of The North was supported by taste makers such as Gilles Peterson on his excellent Worldwide Show on BBC Radio 6 and his previous funk & soul infused releases have gained international support from the likes of Ron Basejam, James Murphy, Danny Krivit & DJ Harvey.
Gallo (HELL YEAH recordings / Slow Motion) is another fantastic local selector who's part of the Balearic Gabba Soundsystem crew. His blissed out Balearic productions this year included the sunset hit, Fabrizio Mammarella's Ambient Remix of his 'Faron' included on the Balearic 4 Comp. His productions have gained support from a who's who of Balearic heads such as Chris Coco, Phil Mison, Calm, Pete Gooding, Max Essa & Dr Rob.
