After one year of parties at our beloved Stereo basement, we are moving the Arcade to what will be our home for the next year, the infamous La Cheetah Club. To celebrate our new residency we are bringing to Scotland one of our favourite Djs and producers out there.
Casio Royale a.k.a Mark Forshaw will be our first guest in the new Arcade instalment. Mark Forshaw has has been heavily involved in the UKs music scene since the late 90’s. His productions have featured on labels such as Unknown to the Unknown, Tabernacle, Mathematics, Berceuse Heroique and Contort Yourself among others.
Casio Royale is the alias under which Mark has released all his Dixon Avenue Basement Jams bangers. His EPs are known for their heavy house tracks with his characteristic mad acid bass lines. Tracks such "Work This", "Hell House" and "The Beat will Control" have been heavily supported by renowned Djs including the Black Madonna, Kink and Honey Dijon.
Casio Royale also stands out as a selector. He was a resident DJ at two of Liverpool's most notable techno club nights, T-Funkshun and Voodoo. And if that doesn't convince you give a listen to his 2015 Boiler Room, an hour of house beauty.
Adler from the Glasgow based Partial duo will be warming up the booth once more, with the finest selection of disco and house.
