If we had to pick one artist who has shaped house music over the last two years, it would have to be Peggy Gou. The Berlin-based South Korean has quite literally shaken the genre to its core, rapidly emerging as one of the most important female figures in modern electronic music. It would have been inconceivable not to invite her to curate Nuits Sonores 2019, such is the influence she has come to exert on the back of her powerful performances and pinpoint productions.
