Starting off the first Familia of 2019, Layton Giordani joins us from New York alongside the promising Romanian duo Mirror States and Familia’s own resident, Fabio Ferro.
It’s safe to say Layton Giordani is following a steady upward trajectory which is set to continue well into 2019. Having already collaborated Drumcode boss Adam Beyer and Relief Records head honcho Green Velvet, Layton’s next significant production comes in the form of a 4 track EP soon to be released on Drumcode. With a slew of monumental and live-streamed shows Resistance in Privilege Ibiza, Drumcode festival, Awakenings at Gashouder, Soul Tech festival in Mexico and several appearances at Berlin's Watergate club, it’s clear the New Yorker only plays events of a certain high calibre, further signifying what he’s all about as an educated selector.
After an incredible response to Mirror States’ supporting set for Boris Brejcha back in March 2018, the duo from Bucharest return with their groove-heavy, melodious techno to close out the night.
Familia resident Fabio Ferro completes the bill, ready to take on on the year ahead having appeared on Familia tour dates in Salerno, Italy, Output, New York City and Ibiza and many more to come.
