Mit in den Schwarzen Raum bringt das UK-Urgestein Breakwave, die mit ihren Meine Nacht-Partys Liverpool unsicher macht, während Baron Castle vom Berliner Imprint Myth Music druckvollen Techno abliefert. Im Roten Raum teilen sich DJ Sports und sein Bruder DJ Central vom dänischen Regelbau-Kollektiv die Decks, was einen ausgetüfftelten Mix aus Rave, Jungle und Power-House wie auf der trippigen "Modern Species"-LP oder ihren breakigen Help Recordings-Platten verspricht. Mit seiner ganz eigenen Mischung aus Disco und Folklore ist der Japaner Que Sakamoto von Huit Etoiles unterwegs und Renate-Resident The Swift sorgt wieder für kontrollierte Volleskalation. Den Grünen Raum mischen drei exquisite Berliner DJs auf: Maayan Nidam, die gerade mit "Sea Of Thee" auf Perlon ihr erstes Album seit sechs Jahren vorlegt, und Hubble von Sleep Is Commercial mit dubbigem Minimal, Alienata von der Killekill-Crew mit Electro bis Acid.
This edition of Liquid is one for the books: Special Request, who already released many house anthems as Paul Woolfoord, has also established himself as a jungle innovator ever since the "Modern Warfare"-EPs on XL Recordings and regulary causes a furor on the Fabric label Houndstooth with ravy dubstep monsters like "Brainstorm". The UK veteran takes Breakwave along to the Black Room, who paints Liverpool red with her Meine Nacht-partys, whereas Baron Castle from the Berlin imprint Myth Music serves punchy techno. In the Red Room DJ Sports and his brother DJ Central from the Danish collective Regelbau share the decks, what promises a crafty mix of rave, jungle and power house like on the trippy "Modern Species"-LP or their breaky cuts for Help Recordings. Japanese artist Que Sakamoto from Huit Etoiles presents his very own blend of disco and folklore and with Renate resident The Swift things escalate quickly once again.
