『感情を駆り立てるパフォーマンスエレクトロニカ』
名門レーベル“Warp”の期待の新星Yves Tumorが待望の初来日！ 電子音楽、クラシック、ポップなど、多彩なスタイルを取り込んだ怪作「Safe In The Hands Of Love」で注目を集める2018年の最重要アーティストが、抑圧からの解放を求めて叫びをあげる。ソングライティングとサウンドの在り方を極限まで追求し、音楽の常識を覆す予想外のライヴパフォーマンスは、エレクトロニックミュージックの未来を見せてくれるだろう。
共演には、モジュラーシンセを取り入れたヴォーカルパフォーマンスが話題のmachìnaが登場。エレクトロニカやR&Bを中心にさまざまなスタイルを解体した鮮烈なエレクトロニックミュージックを繰り広げる。さらにもうひとり、原宿の“BIG LOVE”から透明感のある浮遊オルタナポップを発表するAya Gloomyの出演も決定。従来の音楽スタイルをドリーミーなローファイサウンドで打ち出した繊細なメッセージがStudio Xフロアを包み込む。
Contactフロアには、近年の海外公演で多くのミュージックヘッズを唸らせているCompumaが登場。ノイズ、テクノ、現代音楽など、ありとあらゆる音楽を唯一無二のレフトフィールド・ダンスミュージックに変化させるDJプレイに注目だ。ライヴパフォーマンスの多彩なアプローチとエレクトロニックミュージックの可能性を存分に味わえるこの夜は、制約から解き放たれたサウンドアドベンチャーとなるに違いない。

Since making a bold entry into the international music community, Yves Tumor has subverted expectation and challenged established musical norms at every turn. In 2018, he progressed with the widely acclaimed 「Safe In The Hands Of Love」, which found him exploring the limits of his songwriting and tonality even further on the iconic Warp Records. Now touring in support of the album, Tumor will make his highly anticipated Japanese debut for this special event at Contact.
Alongside Tumor, Machìna will be performing a live set that fuses her distinctive vocals with modular synthesis in a striking deconstruction of electronica, RnB and more besides. Aya Gloomy will also present her delicate, fractured approach to musical storytelling, drawing on traditional instrumentation channeled through dreamy, lo-fi timbres. Meanwhile on the Contact floor Compuma takes control with his expansive approach to gritty, underground noise and techno.
With a rich variety of approaches to live performance and the broad possibilities of electronic music production, this is truly a line-up of unbridled sonic adventure.
