REACT 2 is getting closer and closer, and it’s only apropriate if we get a little taste of it, just to make it untill October 7th! Music Reactions crew in colaboration with club KPTM prepared a real treat! Our guest for this Daily Techno event is Kalden Bess!
Kalden Bess –this DJ/producer, earlier know as m0h, real name is Khaled Bessioud and he’s born in Canada, in Montreal. At this time he’s resident of Paris. Kalden is the founder and owner of Ground Factory Records label on which he published his tracks along side names as: Pig&Dan, Samuel L Session, D.Diggler and others. Kalden has published his tracks on many established labels in the past 18 years, the ones most renowned ones are: Trapez ltd, Analytictrail Rec and Phobique on which you can also find tracks from artists like: Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati, Luigi Madonna, Sasha Carassi, Eric Sneo, Rino Cerrone, Jerome Sydenham etc. Kalden is currently working on his new album and touring the world with UNDERHER project, on which he’s collaborating with talented musician/producer Jessica Abruzzese.
Betomeng – also known as Ivica Ljubić is the man who’s DJ-ing from his 19th year, performing all over Serbia completely devoted to this segment of his life. He says that DJ-ing is his primary lifestyle, although far from financial model of functioning. He’s interested in various aspects of music and it’s development trough out history. In his sets he never plays strictly one music genre, there you can “find” tracks in range from house to contemporary techno with all subgenres and excursions in sound. For him it’s all bout the dinamics.
RAR – one of the founders of Music Reactions organization. He’s name is Rajko Ristanovic and he started collecting records back in ’99 when he also started DJ-ing and making music. At the beginning of 2000’s, during “second techno wave” in Belgrade, he was a part of Poems Music organization (along side two friends - Miloš Drobnjaković and 33.10.3402.) when they generated a lot of attention performing and organizing underground techno parties in Belgrade clubs. He’s against “framing” music historically and by genre. In his sets you can hear tracks in range from detroit techno classics full of harmonies and broken beats, to contemporary minimal techno.
