The Last Dance...
It's been an amazing 14 years of throwing parties in Leicester & beyond but all good things must come to an end.
Since it's inception back in 2004, City Fly has become 'a true east midlands deep house institution' and responsible for some of the best times of our lives, expressing ourselves, dancing, loving, partying, making new friends, meeting old ones, sharing & exposing music, creating opportunities & booking and connecting with some of our favorite artists from all over the world. It's been a labor of love & passion throughout - never compromising on quality or being jaded by hype or trends and always staying true to our vision, but the time has come to call it a day on the parties. We'll still be running the record label and have a big year planned so we'll be by no means gone completely!
For our final shindig, we've invited along one of our favorite DJ's and record label artists in the shape of the Japanese wizard 'Kez YM' who will be flying in from Berlin especially to see the party out in style with us. Kez is one of the most talented underground DJ's in the world so we're very pleased to have him over for the finale. For those that have seen Kez play before you know how good he is if it's your first time, you're sure in for a treat.
Expect House, Disco, Techno with lots of groove and soul in true City Fly style...

Hailing from Japan, Kez YM has steadily been building an impeccable discography ever since his debut EP "Sweetly Confused" on Gerd's 4Lux label, with EPs on Yore (noticeably the cult "City Soul EP"), Deep Explorer, Faces, City Fly and others. His fusion of soul-infused Detroit Beatdown-inspired productions have got the nod from Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Larry Heard, Osunlade, DJ Nature, Jimpster, Cassy and many more, and his recent releases see the Berlin resident refine his signature sound even further, marking him out as one of the premier Japanese DJs bringing that true-school house/disco flavor with ceaseless energy and grooves.
