Launch party for the new London session run by Domu and Greymatter, covering all
eras of electronic beats.
Guest for the launch party is one half of the legendary Groove Chronicles outfit and
DPR label boss, Noodles. Noodles aka Groovechronicles has been involved in the
dance music scene for the last 21 years, working in influential record shop's in
London like passion records (inside mash oxford street) unity records, unit 2 aka
flying records, release the groove, uptown records and zoom records in Camden
town DJing, and producing under the Groovechronicles name for DPR. A true
legend of the scene.
Domu is a renowned heavyweight producer and former Co-Op DJ that has been
touring the world since 1998. He has appeared on many labels such as 2000Black,
Archive, Ninja Tune, Sonar Kollektiv, Compost, Rush Hour, Especial, Bitasweet,
Schtum among others, has released multiple albums under his many guises and
recently dropped a compilation of his remixes, rarities and b-sides for Brighton’s Tru
Thoughts label. Domu is the front man of the Treble-O imprint and has also regularly
featured on BBC’s 1Xtra hosting the Xtra Talent show covering Benji B’s 'Deviation'
show on numerous occasions.
Greymatter is the founder of the Basement Soul club session, the Unique Uncut
label, Mr Bongo Soundsystem member, and DJ/producer recording and releasing for
Tru Thoughts, NY Soul, Wolf Music, Mr Bongo and Unique Uncut. His debut album
'Mind Over Matter' will be dropping early in 2010.
